The day begins overlooking the water with a continental breakfast included in your stay. For those wishing to indulge a little further, our chef offers a selection of freshly prepared hot breakfast specialties, available to order from our breakfast menu at an additional charge.

Lunch and dinner

Seasonal menus, three mains to choose from

Dinner has three courses: a starter; a choice of three mains, one meat, one fish or seafood and one vegetarian; and dessert. Lunch is simpler and changes with the day, from a plated dish to a sandwich.

The cooking is American and European, and also Caribbean, with Asian influences. The menus follow the season and favor local and regional produce when practical, with vegetables and herbs from the Six Pillars garden whenever they are available. On Wednesdays the kitchen cooks Asian and Pacific dishes.

Pizza from the clay oven

Saturday is a relaxed but high-quality Chef's Choice day featuring barbecue, clay-oven pizza and smoked food. The clay oven is lit, and out comes pizza with smoked pork and, when the garden beside it has them, freshly cut oregano, mint and other herbs.

Orchid Lounge

Open-air, with a view over the water

Next to the restaurant, the Orchid Lounge has a long wooden bar counter with high stools and the only television at the resort, for sports and games. Its glass doors open onto a terrace with high tables and a view over the lagoon. It has its own restrooms and a door straight to the pool. Food and drinks are additional.

An outdoor pool among palms

A few steps from the Orchid Lounge, the outdoor swimming pool has its own drinks counter, a pergola, lounge chairs and umbrellas, a bathroom and a shower, surrounded by plants and palm trees. It is for resort guests, and for visitors who come to eat or have a drink.

The restaurant, the Orchid Lounge and the pool also welcome visitors from around the islands who are not staying at the resort. Please reserve in advance: we are a small team and we cook for the people we expect.

The kitchen also delivers to Marina Solarte, Marina Red Frog and Bahía Honda.

El Tulipán Perdido

Breakfast or a private dinner on your terrace

Guests of El Tulipán Perdido can have breakfast served on their own terrace over the lagoon, or arrange a private dinner there. Each has an additional charge. Breakfast is booked during your stay; dinner, in advance.
