El Tulipán Perdido, the overwater bungalow, seen from the lagoon

Overwater bungalow

El Tulipán Perdido

4 guests · 1 king bed · 2 single beds

Over the lagoon

A lagoon where dolphins can be seen

El Tulipán Perdido stands over the water at the front of the resort. From the bedroom upstairs, the rooms below and the terrace, you look straight onto the lagoon.

It is the largest of the four units, for up to four guests: a king bedroom upstairs and a second bedroom below with two single beds. Outside, all of it yours alone: a terrace and sitting area, a hammock corner and a balcony that opens straight from the front bedroom.

Your own dock and steps lead into the water, with a cold-water outdoor shower for when you climb back up. A private walkway takes you to the Casa Magnolia restaurant, and a covered boathouse sits alongside.

The bathroom is large, with two sinks, a toilet and a hot-water shower. There is no television in the unit; the TV is in the Orchid Lounge.

There is no air conditioning here: the whole resort runs off the grid, on solar power. There are ceiling fans in the living room and the bedroom.

Only here

Breakfast can be served on your own terrace, at an additional charge; you book it during your stay.

A private dinner on your terrace over the lagoon can be arranged, at an additional charge and booked in advance.

For families

El Tulipán Perdido is the unit for families. The two single beds downstairs are meant for children and the king bedroom upstairs for parents. The bungalow stands over the water and the resort has an outdoor pool, so please keep children supervised at all times.
