Getting Here
We pick you up at the airport
Six Pillars Resort sits on Isla Bastimentos, reachable by boat only. Fly into Bocas del Toro and our team takes care of the rest: the round-trip transfer between the airport and the resort is included in every stay. After a crossing of about fifteen minutes, you step onto our dock, where cold towels with eucalyptus oil are waiting.
Two airports in Panama City
Most international flights land at Tocumen (PTY). Flights to Bocas del Toro leave from Albrook (PAC), a different airport about 28 kilometers across the city. Allow at least an hour to get from one to the other. Air Panama and FlyTrip fly the route several times a day, and the flight takes about an hour.

Fly to Bocas del Toro
Domestic flights land at Capitán José Ezequiel Hall airport on Isla Colón, the main island of the archipelago. The Sansa flight from San José, Costa Rica, lands there too.

We meet you at the airport
A member of our team is waiting when you land. Pick-up times are coordinated around each guest's arrival, so please share your flight details with us at least 24 hours ahead.

A short ride to Bocas Docks
From the airport we take you to the docks in Bocas Town, where our boat is waiting.

About 15 minutes by boat
The crossing to Isla Bastimentos takes around 15 minutes, a little more or less depending on the weather and the tides. You step off directly onto the resort's main dock, where cold towels with eucalyptus oil and bottled water are waiting.

And back again
On your departure day we bring you back to the airport the same way. Check-out is by 11:00 AM; tell us your flight time and we will schedule the boat around it.
If you arrive by land
You can also travel to Almirante and take a boat from there to Bocas Town, about 30 to 40 minutes. That leg is at your own expense and is not part of the included transfer. Once you are in Bocas Town, our team coordinates the rest.

Before you travel
Our team coordinates every arrival from Bocas Town. We confirm your transfer when you book, and ask for your flight details at least 24 hours ahead.
The resort runs off the grid on solar power and rainwater, so we kindly ask every guest to be mindful with water and energy.
Once you are here, kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear are included, and our tours leave from the resort's own dock.
